Chipping Sodbury Town secured a deserved 3–1 home victory over the University of Bristol on Friday 13 December, thanks to a superb hat-trick from Tyler Dacres.

Playing in front of the home support at Chipping Sodbury, Dacres delivered a clinical performance in front of goal, scoring all three of the hosts’ goals to put the game beyond doubt. His finishing proved the difference in a competitive contest, with the visitors unable to contain his attacking threat.

The University of Bristol did manage to find the net, but Chipping Sodbury Town remained in control throughout, showing composure and resilience to see out the win.

In recognition of his outstanding performance, Tyler Dacres was presented with the match ball after the final whistle by Chipping Sodbury Town Chair, James Mapstone, a fitting reward for a memorable individual display.

The victory adds another positive result for Chipping Sodbury Town as they continue to build momentum on home soil.
