Against South West Peninsula League opposition, Abingdon United had the longest journey of the day travelling from Oxfordshire to Cornwall to take on Falmouth Town United at their Bickland Park ground. The "U's" conceded an own goal after seven minutes of play, though managed to keep the score line stable through to half time. Possibly passing Abingdon United on the M5 was another Cornish side Camelford who made their way to the Gerrard Buxton Sports Ground for the game against Royal Wootton Bassett Town. Bassett went in at half time a 2-0 lead over Camelford with goals from Tommy Ouldridge and TJ Bohane. In the Malvern Town fixture against United Counties League Rothwell Corinthians the first half was good battle between two committed teams at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium with the Hillsiders leading 2-1.
