On Friday night Premier Division Binfield hosted Division Two opponents Chalfont Wasps. It was on way traffic for the Moles who buried a goal into the Wasps nest in the first minute. In the Tucker Park fixture Division 2 Faringdon Town and Premier Brimscombe & Thrupp went in at half time with the visitors 0-2 in fron. Brimscombe then made second half dominance count. It was unfortunate that Letcombe's first game on their return to the uhlsport Hellenic League Division Two was a cup match against a Premier Division team rather than a league match, but even though they had a number of players not available, Letcombe will be pleased that they matched their opponents for large parts of the game. In the first outing of Hazlemere Sports in the Bluefin Sport Challenge Cup it turned out to be an even game, with Division Two Hazlemere better side in the first half, and One East Aldermaston the better team in the second. A good game of football, two all at the end of play, with Haslemere profrassing to the next round winning the penalty shoot out 4-2.
