The BuildBase FA Vase Round Two Qualifying

On Friday night Long Crendon were the first to step up the plate for the uhlsport Hellenic League hopefuls in the second round qualifying ties. Playing away at Bracknell Town's Larges Lane ground against Sandhurst Town. Sandhurst, known as the Fizzers, were one time members of the Hellenic League but now play in Division One of the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League. Sandhurst went through winning 3-1. Joao Jardim gave the Fizzers the lead on 10 minutes. Hayden Richardson and Liam Hind were the other home scorers. Out of the Hellenic teams playing in the Vase on Saturday seven Hellenic League teams were guaranteed a place in the next round. Only 90 minutes of football would determine which teams amongst the fourteen teams drawn against each other would progress.

Bishops Cleeve v One West Malmesbury Victoria at Kayte Lane ended in a 1-0 win for the Premier Division home side. Goal Scorers Home: Mark Pritchett 69 
When half time came at The Meadow Brimscombe & Thrupp had smiles on their faces leading One East AFC Aldermaston 2-0. One East Milton United and Premier Division Lydney Town were goal less at The Heights five minutes before half time, but they went in for the break with the score at 1-1. One West Stonehouse Town lost 0-1 to Premier Royal Wootton Bassett Town at Oldends Lane Goal Scorers Away: Adam Corcoran 66 
It was One East Woodley United's landlord's Premier Division Reading City leading 0-2 at the break in the Rivermoor derby game. A crowd of 280 watched a close game with Reading winning 3-2, Tyler d'Cruz hitting a hattrick. Goal Scorers Home: Tyler D'Cruz 35' 45+, 50 Away: Max Laschok 70', 81' 
One West Thornbury Town were a goal behind at half time to vistors One East Abingdon United the Mundy Playing Fields. Combined Counties Premier Division C B Hounslow United were a goal down at the break against Hellenic Premier Division Easington Sports at Green Lane, Hounslow. The final result after 90 minutes of play was 2-2 with the progress to be decided by penalties - which was not to Sports bowed out losing 4-2 on penalties. Goal Scorers Home: ????? Away: ????
CC Division One AFC Hayes hosted Division One East Penn & Tylers Green, however recent severe flooding caused the venue to be switched to Penn's French School Meadows. One West Clanfield 85 went in at half time 1-0 up against Combined Counties Division One Fleet Spurs at Radcot Road. The 'Red's' of Flackwell Heath had a 1-0 score line at half time against United Counties League Premier Division  Desborough Town at Wilks Park. A first half penalty save by Sam Butcher helped Holmer Green finish the first half 0-0 against United Counties League Division 1 Bugbrooke St Michaels at Watchet Lane. But the lower level side took the hame by the scruff of the neck going through to the next round with a 1-4 victory. United Counties League Division 1 Raunds Town had conceded three without reply against One East Risborough Rangers at Raunds London Road ground. Friday night Binfield were hoping to continue their five game run without a loss and take top spot in the Premier Division table by maintaining the run against Windsor at Stubbs Lane. The 'Moles' maintained their unbeaten run a now occupy top spot in the Premier Division but it was touch and go against the 'Royalist's' ending in a 4-4-draw with Sean Moore scoring the equaliser for the home side three minutes into added time. Hereford Pegasus welcomed Hereford neighbours Wellington Old to School Lane. In front of a crowd of ober 150, a well fought local derby saw Pegasus earn their third victory in a row as they came from behind to beat 10 man Wellington. Harry Smith opened the account for Malvern Town after five minutes of play against Cirencester Town Development at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium.
