A cracking cup tie between Division Two Adderbury Park and Division One Thornbury Town. Town were two up inside 10 minutes. Two all at half time then Park then went 4-2 up, then 4-4, screamer from Josh Northam in the 85th minute took Park through to the next round.

Hellenic League new boys Wellington and promoted Bourton Rovers played their first ever game in uhlport Hellenic League Division One West. A tightly contested affair with Wellington scoring a breakaway goal well into the second half. A match described by the home side as an "Excellent exhibition of Hellenic Division One football". Cheltenham Saracens opening game at home against Tytherington Rocks was set to be a challenge following whispers of the Rocks making some great signings this summer.
