Beer, Cider, Gin Festival - 3 January

shrivenham beer cider gin festival 2020Preparations for the 2020 Shrivenham Beer, Cider & Gin Festival, taking place on 15-16 February, progressed as the club ticked the Gin selection from our list to give attendees a choice of TEN different brands to choose from!

In line with supporting local businesses, the football club are delighted to announce that they will be providing five traditional gins from local distilleries at Ramsbury (based in Ramsbury), Tickle (Kembrey Park, Swindon), Scout and Sage (Semington), Explorer (Downton) as well as Toad (Oxford), while there’s also a selection of flavoured ones including Malfy Lemon Gin (from Italy), Penrhos Apple and Elderflower Gin and also their Rhubarb one (based in Kington, Herefordshire), Tickle Raspberry Gin and also Cotswold Ginger Gin (Stourton, Warwickshire) to give gin lovers an experience to remember!

With a little over six weeks until the event, organiser Kevin Hegg said: “Preparations are going well with our team all working hard to make this year’s event another one to remember. Once again we are indebted to our friends from Vale of White Horse CAMRA and to our main sponsor, Edward Bays.  We still have a limited number of barrel sponsorship's available too, so we’d be delighted to hear from anyone who’d be interested in getting involved.”

Tickets for this year’s Beer, Cider & Gin Festival are already on sale from Shrivenham Football Club on home match days, as well as at our event partners at Bloomfields and The Prince of Wales Pub, both of which are in Shrivenham High Street.

This year's event will also see the introduction of a clean-up session (on Sunday February 16, 2020) but this is strictly for sponsors only.  For details on how you or your business can get involved, please contact Kevin via email at festival@shrivenhamfc.co.uk
