Over the past week the board of Tytherington Rocks have held a number of video conference meetings to discuss the first team Managers role at Rocks.
David Doe, assisted by Steve Collins, was appointed as Caretaker manager of the uhlsport Hellenic League One West club midway through last season following the departure of the previous team manager.
The new board were keen to install some stability at the club after numerous managerial changes in recent years and after taking our times to discuss our options we are delighted to announce that David Doe (pictured) and Steve Collins have now been appointed on a permanent basis.
The board have set clear objectives it wants to achieve this year and is looking forward to seeing what the new management team can achieve with a whole season at the helm. As previously announced the club is launching a youth section again at the club as it looks to create a clear player pathway for both its men’s and ladies sides.
Chairman James Eveleigh said: "This is an exciting time at the club with the new look board setting out to achieve its 5 year plan to make the club a success on and off the field. We’d like to congratulate Dave and Steve and hope their reign will be long and successful."
"In the meantime we would like to wish our supporters, friends and family all the best of health during this difficult time and look forward to welcoming you into this new era at Rocks very soon."
