300 Up  - 14 September

Holyport Football Club were delighted to present Lee Ovens with a Silver Salver and signed Stoke City shirt on Saturday afternoon. Manager Derek Sweetman and chairman Tony Andrews presented Lee with these awards as he made his 300th appearance for the club after a prolonged layoff due to Covid-19.

Ironically, it was Thame Rangers who Holyport should have faced back in March before the season was cancelled. Lee skippered the side on Saturday in the clubs 3-0 home win in front of 90 spectators.

Lee joined the club in 2010 and made his debut against South Kilburn, Lee has been an ever present since and his contribution both on and off the pitch is highly valued. Lee is happy to help wherever he can and has continued to play through injury. Notably two seasons ago when he broke his arm away at Chalvey Sports but continued to play as 'it was just a broken arm' .

From all at Holyport FC thank you for your service and the commitment to the club.ort Football Club were delighted to present Lee Ovens with a Silver Salver and signed Stoke City shirt on Saturday afternoon.
