Management Partnership Continues - 17 April

Milton United advise that manager Tim Davies and Paul Berry have agreed to take charge of the team again next season.

Chairman Andy Burchette stated he is very pleased with the decision and believes the club is heading in the right direction with Tim and Paul.

Tim has been at the club for three seasons now and works very hard behind the scenes, he has been instrumental in combining the youth team with the first team. Paul arrived in January to help Tim and the player's have reaped the benefit of Paul's expertise. They work really well together and we are confident they can improve the playing squad and climb the table next season.

The first team are looking for a new Physio for next season. If interested please contact Tim Davies on 07798844294


Berry Joint Manager At Milton - 21 December

paul berry milton hellenic footballFormer Oxford United player and academy coach Paul Berry has joined Milton United to team with current First Team Manager Tim Davies.

Milton United Chairman Andy Burchette said "Milton are absolutely delighted to have Paul on board, he will be a huge addition to our First Team Management Team. Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience of both the game at our level and local players. Tim has worked tirelessly to assemble a team at Milton, he is a massive part of the club’s future and is well respected by the players, fans and Milton staff. Paul can add that bit ‘extra’ to our clubs set up and coupled with Tim we now have the makings of a very strong and hardworking Management Team. It goes without saying that it has been a frustrating season so far, but it has not been for lack of effort on part of the Management and players. This is not a wholesale change but a positive statement of intent, Milton need to and will push on”.

A buoyant Davies said "I'm really looking forward to working alongside Paul, who shares the same ethos & ambition as myself and the clubs committee. Paul added "It's a great chance for me to get back into coaching football and to work alongside Tim and help push Milton United forward. I've been made to feel so welcome. It's fantastic being part of Milton United FC, there is so much energy here, a unity and real family feel. "

Milton United have transferred Ollie Creed from Uhlsport Hellenic Premier club Abingdon United.

Manager Tim Davies is very pleased to Ollie on board saying "Ollie brings lots a quality to the squad. Hopefully this is a signal of intent of the quality of player and standard we have here at Milton. We are building for the future and Ollie is certainly on who we can build a team around"

Ollie goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game at Holyport.


john kowalyk hellenic footballKowalyk Steps Away From Milton - 9 October

Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One Milton United have parted company with coach John Kowalyk.

John (pictured) joined Milton earlier in the season to assist manager Tim Davies, but both mutually agreed for John to step away.

Milton would like to thank John for his efforts this season with the young squad, he was popular at the club and we wish him all the best.

John Kowalyk would like to confirm that he decided to step down and withdraw his services to the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One side Milton United and not the club deciding to part with his services as previously reported. John called Tim Davies (Manager) on Sunday morning to let him know of his decision. All have left on amicable terms.

John wishes the club and all the players the very best for the rest of the season.


A Winning Start To A Period Of Security - 15 August

Milton United will benefit from some excellent developments during the next 18 months.

Earlier this year planning permission was granted for the development of the land surrounding the area, the planning terms of the 450 plus housing development also include a new club house and facilities along with improvements to Milton United’s ground.

The Miltonian’s have also been approached by an ex professional footballer who lives locally. He watched them during pre-season and the person, Darren Pitcher, has been appointed Director of Football at the club. Darren played 64 games for Crystal Palace and 173 games for Charlton Athletic over a professional career lasting 12 years. Darren has football experienced gained at the top level and he is only too willing to help the club and the players develop their football and indeed enjoyment of the game.

This week MEPC (Milton Park) confirmed their sponsorship of the first team, this follows sponsorship deals for the U18 Girls from Oxford Air Conditioning and for the U11s from Infinium. All are local companies to Milton, the club are very grateful to all three companies for their much-needed support for our teams.

In respect of the facilities development, this week also saw the first preparation, historical survey work has now started on the area prior to the constriction starting.

This is great news and we want to ensure we benefit for the club and football in our area. A lot of extra work is needed to support these activities, which lead me nicely onto to - It is the usual request! We need more volunteers across the club and our numbers are growing; feel free to speak to any of the Committee if you are interested. In particular we are seeking individuals who are interested in some of the Club Officer positions.


Jacks Our Man - 3 August

Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East Milton United announce the signing of 23 year old defender Jack White.

Jack joins a youthful Milton squad and will bring the strength and presence needed at the back. Manager Tim Davies said "I am delighted to finally get Jack on board as a few other clubs from higher leagues wanted him, but I managed to sell him what we are trying to achieve here at Milton. And Jack wants to be a part of that".


Coaching Opportunity At Milton - 16 June

Due to unforeseen circumstances Milton United are again looking for a first team coach to come onboard for the new season.

The successful applicant will be in charge of first team training and working along side the manager with first team duties.

Agreements for site development, which will include a new clubhouse and training facilities are in the process of being finalised, making this is a great opportunity for a qualified coach to join Milton United.
