Letcombe Win National FA Respect Award - 4 July
Letcombe FC are delighted to announce that they have identified as the national winner in the FA's Respect Awards in the category of National League System, Club steps 5-7, for season 2014/15.
They will receive a cash prize of £2000 and will be able to use an exclusive Respect 'Gold Award' identity to promote their achievement and commitment to high standards of behaviour. They will be presented with the award prior to the FA Community Shield between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wembley on 2nd August.
Secretary Des Williams said."We would like to thank the Hellenic League for nominating us for this national award. The cash prize is a massive help for a relatively small club such as ours. It just shows what can be done if everbody at the club embraces the Respect agenda. We have received only two C2 cautions in 30 months since meeting the league management committee in December 2012 because of our indifferent disciplinary record, and we are very proud of that". |
