Two Oxford United players of previous times were on target in the first half, Yemi Odubade (32) and James Constable (45). Two more goals came in the second half through ex Luton Town player Ross Lafayette (49) and Will Evans (63). Clanfield Looking Forward To Eastleigh Game - 8 Julyeastleigh fc

Vanarama National League side Eastleigh, who last season reached the League Play-offs for a place in the Football League, will bring their full Squad to Radcot Road tomorrow night for the pre-season friendly with uhlsport Hellenic League Division One West Clanfield - kick off 7-30 pm.

Eastleigh manager Richard Hill has local connections and the Conference side’s owner is Witney based Stewart Donald, chief of Bridle Insurance. A number of former Oxford United players including James Constable, Jack Midson, Yemi Obudade and Josh Payne are in the squad whilst recent signing Lee Cook is also named.

Robins manager Peter Osborne is looking forward to the match. "We have spent a lot of time and effort to improve the facilities that we have, but Eastleigh are an example of what clubs at our level should seek to achieve. It is not too long ago that Eastleigh were playing in the Wessex League and last season were on the brink of the Football League.”

“We are very grateful to Richard for thinking of us when organising his pre-season and we will be looking to provide them and ourselves with a very good work-out. What will be important for both teams is to get ‘match miles’ into the players.’We have had some good and well attended training sessions and now we face a steep learning curve”.

The Match Officials all progressed via the  Hellenic League. Referee Dan Leach will be assisted by Ben James and newly promoted Neil Templey.
